Benelli has unveiled the new Leoncino 125 at EICMA 2021.
From an aesthetic point of view, it follows the trend of the larger displacement versions, 500 and 250.
Visually, the Leoncino 125 looks identical to its elder siblings. It gets the same steel tube trellis frame, large fuel tank, all-LED lighting, compact tail and other design elements as the rest of the range. Not to miss the stylized lion that sits on the front fender. The Leoncino 125 is powered by a new 125cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 12.8 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 8500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Benelli claims a mileage of 2.2 litres/ 100 km on the Leoncino 125.
The bike is suspended on USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Similarly, braking duties are carried out by disc brakes on both ends with the CBS combined braking system. The Leoncino 125 sits on 17" aluminium alloy wheels with 110/80-R17 and 130/70-R17 tires respectively. The Leoncino 125 will go on sale from spring 2022 in two colors, gray or green.
